About the Department's Organization and Responsibilities

The mission of the Finance Department of the City of Vestavia Hills is to govern financial activities of the City including financial accounting of City funds.

The Finance Department is directed by Melvin Turner, III and is responsible for:

The collection and disbursement of all city funds along with maintenance of accurate records that detail all city transactions.
Implementation of the city's investment policy for all cash reserves.
Personnel records and employee benefit issues.

Over the past several weeks, RDS has been working to notify taxpayers of a change in our online filing website. In an effort to provide the best possible solution to taxpayers for e-filing sales tax returns, we have added more functionality and features to our online solutions.

www.click2file.net should now use www.salestaxonline.com. We do hope that taxpayers find the new website easy to use and informative.

www.salestaxonline.com as seamless as possible to taxpayers. Our staff is ready to assist all taxpayers with their online filing questions. In addition, Salestaxonline.com Technical Support is willing and eager to assist with any issues regarding taxpayer usernames, temporary passwords, etc. Technical Support is available to taxpayers at (800) 227-7057.

We have had a great response from taxpayers that have already confirmed their registration online and are available to provide support to those that still have questions.
