David
H. Belcher and his wife, Alisa, have two sons, David and Brock
who attend Vestavia Hills schools. David has lived in Vestavia
Hills for over 27 years and graduated from Vestavia Hills
High School. David’s family business, Royal Oldsmobile
Company, Inc. and Saturn of Birmingham, have been a part of
Vestavia Hills for over 30 years. David and his family are
members of Shades Mountain Baptist Church.
David is a member of the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce
Business Development Committee and has served on the Chamber
Board of Directors. He served as Chairman of the 1998 Outstanding
Business of the Year Committee for the Chamber. David is a
past member of the Pinnacle Bank Advisory Board. He received
the 1996 Leadership Award from the National Multiple Sclerosis
Society. The Birmingham Business Journal selected David as
one of the “Top 40 Under 40” in Birmingham. He is
a member of the Compass Bank Young Executive Board of Directors.
David serves on the Vestavia Hills School Foundation and as
Chairman for the Leadership Gifts Committee.
As a member of the City Council, David serves as the Council
Liaison to the Vestavia Hills School Board.
