Community Service Programs

The Vestavia Hills Fire Department is involved in our community with additional services designed to meet many non-emergency community needs. These are some examples of community and public assistance programs the Vestavia Hills Fire Department provides:
Assistance in delivery of “Meals on Wheels” which provide a hot noontime meal to some of our homebound citizens.
---xxx
A reading program at our elementary schools designed to reinforce the importance of reading skills and to establish a relationship of familiarity and trust between the students and fire department personnel.

CPR training for our citizens and employees of local businesses.
